HELP! I’M STUCK!
Girl, can you imagine?
where are you going?
help! im stuck in the suburbs!
help! im stuck in a loop!
How can an individual be in charge of their own inner world and daily rituals, and to what extent is it controlled by the urban and social constructions of the place they inhabit?
Through my outcome what I want to say and point to is the absurdity of ones life being planned for them already. The social constructs that dictate the outcome of your life are imposed on us from the top, and can be seen
in our own city structure and rebuilding. The modernist approach of tapiola and its poor upkeep can be directly linked to the capitalistic mind and fast paced economy. The stackable and convinient city structure ables people to live out the routine they were destined to live. Tapiola is designed so that nothing can go wrong, and this design is eactly parallel to how one’s life is structured. Every turn and corner is designed. If you are meant to wonder around and get lost, that is also thought through. Only throuhg real self discovery and denial of the societies standards can one start to create their own path. Through the theory of derive and aimless walking one has time to rethink and evaluate what it is they want to spend their time doing. Only through this freetime, can ones imagination run free. The game expresses the need for space to discover what we really want to do and who we want to be. The is no right way to live ones life and the game invites you to rethink the structure of reality and its possibilities.

POINT CLOUD
The game helps one to explore possibilities beyond their immediate reality and restore a sense of control in their everyday life. In our current system individuals are pushed towards a certain narrative, through the game I want to emphasise the possibilities around oneself. Life is not just a game you have to follow, but can also play.
